Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Concert
December 2, 2009Raunds returned to the Castle Theatre in Wellingborough for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Concert, along with soloist Tracey Barker. The evening proved to be a great success, with a mixture of pieces starting with a tremendous fanfare, complete with choreography. The Band played a blinder, including "classic brass band pieces", two beautiful solos and, as directed by the organisers, the Band "let their hair down" when playing some Queen! The concert ended with a Proms Night which sent the audiences flags a'flying! Thank you to The Royal British Legion for their Organisation and to Tracey for her fabulous singing.
